It isn't just about blaming Bush.

Republicans say "forget Bush" when Democrats hold Bush accountable for his misdeeds, ranging from the wholly preventable tragedy of Nine Eleven to the financial crisis he left as a parting gift.

Trust that we too REALLY want to forget Bush. When we refer to Bush and his tax cuts for the wealthy and his unfunded wars, what we're really asking is . . . Where were the loud-mouthed, Republican deficit/debt hawks THEN?

When Bush used the Patriot Act to run roughshod over our Constitutional rights, where were the Teagaggers and their misspelled signs THEN?

Right-wing media seems really concerned about America's image abroad NOW that it has improved under Obama, but where was their concern when Bush took the worldwide support for America seen right after Nine Eleven and turned it into a visceral hatred of America even among many of our allies?

Of course they want us to forget Bush - they were standing right there beside him the whole time, cheering him on.

2. Republicans have proven themselves over and over

to be total hypocrites. They preferred the Bush-created hatred of the world. They want us to be feared rather than respected.

3. The tea party membership were Bush's strongest supporters, "bar none".

The tea baggers will be Romney's strongest supporters, faulting Obama at every turn for the problems Romney will face.
