That looks like it's very, very fun. I'll see if I can persuade the family unit to swing by the People's Republic tomorrow.

PS: I'm actually in Dedham, but I spend as much time as I can in the Republic!

My son and I sometimes venture down to your Five Guys Burgers.

We were in the Republic today watch the Big Red get crushed by Harvard. Ugly. Ugly.

We should have a meetup of the Boston-area DUers sometime!

Election returns sounds good. I'm thinking a bar with good ambiance, good parking, and easily accessible by public transportation.

Thoughts?

Meadhall?

CBC?

PS:Those are just suggestions. I'm open to any venue.

I might even contemplate my place, for a right sized crowd...

So either you pick, or we could (try) to get a bunch of Mass DUers interested, if the numbers are reasonable then we could do your place, or have a vote using surveymonkey or similar.

Your thoughts?

At my place I can host five people plus myself comfortably. Seven if they're willing to sit on the floor.

If someone has a bigger venue and we pick it I won't be offended.

Did you check out Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society? My friend is one of the members. We stay with them when we go to Honk! I may be biased, but I they're one of the best bands of the whole weekend! Glad to hear someone else digs Honkfest!
