Introducing Discussionist: A new forum by the creators of DU

Romney lied his ass off, CNN skewed their insta-poll, and Ed-MSNBC blamed Obama.....

and many folks here articulated their "disappointment" in Pres. OBama.

In otherwords, just really Good Times a la 2010!

Just want to say...."thank you for that".....cause some things never get old!

2. Glad to see some folks still have self respect for facts vs.

someone who's just plain lying and looking deranged while doing it!

3. I like Ed, but his insights are not always right on. In fact just the opposite. He was so

convienced walker in Wisconsin was going to lose. I wish he did lose. However, Ed and Matthews are more about hyperbole than substance.

Two people on MSNBC use more rational thinking. Rachel and Lawrence

12. Especially, Rev Al.

Loved his (paraphrasing) "Romney gave a great testimony, but he purged himself and will be indicted".

14. "perjured". However, I kinda like the image of Romney purging himself on stage.

19. Thanks! It was half past midnight when I wrote the post

and I was a little off. Perjured, is correct.

And I agree . . . I would love to see Rmoney purged indefinitely from ever running for president, and I believe come November, that's exactly what will happen!

6. Ignore the people who are "disappointed in Obama"

Honestly, at this point, there's nothing in the fucking world that will make those folks ever like Obama. Period. They hold him to a vastly higher standard than any other person in politics, nothing he does will ever be good enough, fuck 'em.

Romney lied. he's a Republican. That's like saying "the cat took a shit," it's pretty much their purpose in life.

CNN skewed their poll and MSNBC "blamed Obama," well, we all knew going into this that in the interest of a good horse race, the media was going to hand it to Romney, even if all he did was crap his pants and launch into another session of Baha Men karaoke

Things pretty much went as expected, Obama's still up, and will only keep climbing. meanwhile, Romney is remembered as the nervous bully on stage who wants to cut taxes but not call it a tax cut, who thinks PBS should close its doors.

7. i thought he did fine.

mitt said a lot of shit that im sure offended a lot of people or came across side ways through out the whole thing.

the dude was off the wall

lying sons? WTF?!?

"i want to bring my money back"

"i know a thing or two about off shoring"

big bird and shit

Home deductions for income tax.

changing and shiftless tax "ideas"--can't describe them as policies. to ethereal.

acting like a tool to jim laher.

like im sure he offended 5% of the pop, 30 to 60 times.

i estimate roughly 99% of the population got offended some how at some point., though +46% will justify voting for him because of their overt racism. (cough CNN)

through little off the cuff comments, or quips.

mit. is. out . of. touch. and i think every one got the picture except his media buds.

but no one watches that shit really any more. (the snewz channels)

internetz can't be bought.

15. First

Always happy to see a FrenchieCat post! Second - you nailed my thoughts on this. But adding -

Now let the fun and games begin. Romney got set up. Give a liar a long enough rope to hang himself - and sooner rather than late Axelrod is going to help him tie the knot.

Lots of good stuff to use against him in last nights date . . .

20. Doesn't matter... won't change the election results in the silghtest

Let the media and the cons have their fun for a day. All Obama has to do is throw it all back at him next debate.

22. All part of the hysteria last night

Here and on TV. I would expect some are waking up with a bit of a hysteria induced hangover this morning and may be coming to their senses.
