The Baby Boomers now sound like their parents and grandparents

"You young whippersnappers. When I was your age......"

It's human nature I guess. Life changes in tiny ways every day, and occasionally in Big Ways -- and we go on not noticing until the changes have accumulated to a critical mass. And you wake up and suddenly realize "My God. The world is a lot different than it was when I was young."

I think a lot of us oldsters have passed that point, and it's being expressed in the political process. The old rules, and attitudes are shifting. Democrat doesn't mean what it did in the 60's or the 90's.

There's a redefining going on. And the formative experiences of today's young people are very different thanthe world that Baby Boomers grew up in.

And politically, therefore, many geezers are scratching their heads wondering "Why can't these damn kids see what Hillary has done for women? Why don't they go along with what the Clinton have done for America?"

But what is weird is that in changing many of the young 'uns are seeing the same things an old Geezer with a Brooklyn accent has been pointing out for years. Like a circle.

Well this Baby Boomer -- and many others -- may not understand exactly why the Milennials are going for Bernie. But we're there with you.

Maybe history will repeat itself....or not.

No one knows, and I'd prefer to gamble on growth instead of constriction and fear

That's the nature of a gamble.

And it is arrogant and narrow minded to assume those who support Sanders don't care about human rights too. No one wants the damn GOP to win.

mine will. Your right to vote won't be taken away, people of color's will. Your right to control your body won't be taken away, women's will. The fact is you are gambling with our rights and you should at least admit it.

Most people who are supporting Bernie are not doing so because they want to lose.

You may disagree with their belief in which would win, but get off your damn high horse about motives or who "cares" more.

it just kind of tickled me because, from my perspective anyway, the generation gap between me and my parents when I was young was a chasm compared to the gap today between me and my kids. Rock and roll changed everything, just like they were warning.

For instance, I can't imagine my parents EVER listening to Steppenwolf's "God Damn the Pusher" like I'm doing right now, but my kids would.
