When Bernie Sanders Ran Against Me (Kunin)

Hillary Clinton is not the first progressive Democratic woman to be challenged by Bernie Sanders. He ran against me in 1986 when I was running for my second term as governor of Vermont. At that time he had little affinity for the Democratic Party. When advised that his third-party candidacy might result in a Republican victory, he saw no difference between Democrats and Republicans, saying, "It is absolutely fair to say you are dealing with Tweedledum and Tweedledee."

In groups considered more radical than even strong liberals. The type who spend many hours rejecting and slinging insults at Hillary Clinton, at liberal policies, and at the Democrats are not called anti-Democrats, anti-liberals, and/or illiberal left for nothing. As a minority to the left of most liberals, they tend to define themselves by denouncing the majority ideologies they are against as much as what they are for.

Long past time to seize back the Party from people who left the Republican party in disgust and are pushing neoliberal warhawkishness, policies that destroy the middle class and ship jobs overseas.

between the two parties, translates to his thoughts just back in 2014 (educate yourself):

Reagan and Carter?
Reagan and Dukakis?
Bush and Clinton?
Clinton and Dole?
GWB and Gore?
GWB and Kerry?
Obama and McCain?
Obama and Romney?

side but to be blunt, Obama vs Romney was the fist round with an actual legislatively focused difference. Obama vs McCain? Two big anti equality Christians competing for the Jesus vote. Bush was hateful but Clinton was DOMA style backhand 'support' that was really betrayal. In our darkest hour as well. Our community plundered by the plague, Bill's law said 'and don't think you can rebuild your families, that's for my kind only'. Of course Bill's kind has stuff on the side but that's OK because Jesus lets Bill be Bill but LGBT, Jesus don't play that.

That is one nasty, dismissive habit you have. It's pure assholery and you really should cut it out.

I addressed an area of politics in specific which is important to me. On what basis to you deny that right to me?
