S. E. Cupp, the conservative, uh, host on "The Cycle" is such a dingbat. Why is she on television?

I had "The Cycle" from MSNBC on just for some background noise while I am painting (long story). She was discussing the "bombshell" Drudge video and accusing Obama of dividing our nation by pitting disaffected groups against each other. Krystal said, well, uh, "Isn't Romney's 47% comment a divisive one?" S.E. says "You can frame it however you want, but Obama is divisive.: Then Krystal Ball and Toure just laughed at her. Then Nate Silver comes on - and he has something interesting to say. S.E. doesn't ask a single question or make a single comment. She is a "conservative" strategist and commentator.

She mumbled something about his economic philosophy. She really. really, really, really, really needs to be replaced. I don't want her replaced with a liberal. Go ahead and put a strong conservative in her spot. But make it a conservative who is at least in possession of a normal human brain, if such can be found in this day and age.

I can't stand her voice saying things I can't stand. I mute the TV when it's her turn to speak.

I like the Cycle.. The other three young progressives are very smart. I listen to MSNBC all the time.. I do watch the 5 sometime just to see what stupid things are being said by the opposition.

When the four sit at the table, her back is usually toward the camera, like they are trying to hide the fact she is on the show.

I admit Sarah Elizabeth is sexy eye candy and all, but she gets on my nerves, too. Even when some Republican gets caught doing something shady, she tends to reach for false equivalences.
Another beef I have with that show is the poll they use. They always show the NBC Wall Street Journal poll to show how the race looks instead of other polls, and that poll is notorious for having a rightward slant. It always shows the race within just a few points, but there's no way that Romney is still that close despite his gaffes and how he always has trouble drawing crowds compared to the president.

It's disgusting, I know but it is equivalent to how I regard that show. Cupp ruins every discussion with her inane comments, always accusing the media of being leftist, always compelled to defend Whipsaw Willard and Lyin Ryan. Would not a real, sincere debate on each topic be more productive and interesting? Unless MSNBC thinks she's a gold mine for the 'love to hate' crowd to target.
I've disliked her since her first appearances on Real Time With Bill Maher, particularly for her stance as an atheist who defends the religious' right to interfere with our daily lives. The sexy librarian shit is getting old, Palin owns that look. Is there a unwritten rule that females cannot wear trousers or pants if they are on a news network? WTF, other folks beside horny old men watch these shows.

when they get to Sippy Cupp she reels off some dis-proven, outdated, right wing talking point...
and the whole table just laughs at her to her face.
Sometimes even the guests join in the laughing.
Oh yeah..good times.
