They tried ignoring Sanders for as long as they could. Voters and the corporate media were distracted with Trump so it was easy.
Now they can't ignore Sanders and they are on the attack but the risk there is exactly what Bill Clinton said it was. The media loves a fight and they will ask each side to respond to the other. Free airtime for as long as it goes on.
