That victory declaration was real low rent.

non-stop media coverage that the demographics suit him because of lack of diversity. Then ALL the blather about Iowa voters being notoriously undecided until the last minute and easily influenced by newcomers. Now they are all *surprised*. LOL.

Great observation!

If watching us is so difficult for you, I suspect that opening up our threads, reading through them and then jumping in to make serial snarky comments all throughout must be sheer torture.

21. Because he overcame tremendous odds - my thoughts why this happened:
Tue Feb 2, 2016, 01:54 AM
Feb 2016

-He's not taken money from any PACs. They didn't think he would have enough money to compete with ads, staff, etc.
-He's not had much media coverage at all. 10 minutes in all of 2015 on one of the big stations, I forget which one.
-Secy. Clinton has much greater name recognition.
-The debates, where people could have become better acquainted with him and his proposed polices were held on odd nights when most were not home to watch television -- and most of the debates were held on cable television -- a few were not viewable without a subscription. (I know this as we don't have cable.)
-Several major pollsters also had him losing terribly tonight - Nate Silver for one.

It does seem a bit odd at first glance but given all of the above and other intangibles like America loves an underdog and he's certainly one of those -- this will be a topic for at least the next news cycle.

For me personally, I support him as his passion about addressing Climate Change almost matches mine. He could crank it up several notches IMO as this is the Crisis no one wants to talk about or think about but it's not going away but only getting worse while we collectively ignore it. He is against fracking, against more tarsand oil pipelines -- supports a price on carbon (which would stop or slow down all that craziness), among other things for me. But that's the big issue as I see it. Secy. Clinton doesn't mention much about Climate Change except in terms of economics - jobs to be created, etc. Which will be nice and I will support if she becomes our nominee. But the crisis needs more than solar panel jobs. Sen. Sanders speaks about this is as crisis to be addressed. Clinton does not. Or doesn't yet. I would like to hear her speak about this more. It would make me less anxious about a Clinton presidency.

Ignore the Huffpo plot that was shared here dozens of times.

I can't believe the hateful venom some are spewing at you - any person with an ounce of integrity knew that plots like the above were available to everybody and posted here regularly.

But I DID see a whole lot of Sanders supporters taunting and prancing the last few days, crowing about how Sanders was going to wipe the floor with Clinton.
