With the stunning poll results coming in today, Big Ed is making sure that folks don't get over-confident and/or cocky.

But with the Gallup daily tracking poll having Obama at 50 percent, it is going to be hard to slow down a sense of inevitability.

QUOTE: I know liberals like to always think we can't win and we are always loosing but I'm telling you this race is over even with the voter suppression your only looking at .1% effect in suppression if we were in any danger of loosing this thing I would tell you.

What he's really doing is demoralizing the voters. Ed did this before the 2010 elections. I think he should take a lot of responsibility for the turnout numbers. After 2010, many of us called in to his show and accused him of doing what he's doing now: demoralizing voters.

I think we all understand that we could very well lose this election. Romney still has a good chance to win due to the economy, continued discord in the Middle East, voter suppression, some other event, or a combination of one or more of these--we cannot delve into defeatism. We need to have the energy to work and get busy.

Almost every Saturday, I've been volunteering in VA and things have improved each time. But we have to keep up the momentum. The Republicans are very desperate right now as Obama continues to do well in the polls. They'll do anything to retain power.

Turn Big Ed off. He means well, but he is often uninformed and too emotional. Turn him off and get to work.

We doni't want things to turn sour for Pres. Obama the way they did for candidate for Maryland Governor, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend (RFK's kid) over 12 years ago.

She was so sure that she couldn't lose, being a Dem AND a Kennedy in deep-blue Maryland, that she barely put up a fight until it was too late.

The end result: We got our first GOP governor in decades, Bob Ehrlich, who unleashed upon the world his LT Gov, Michael Steele.
