It's unfair to compare Democratic debate ratings (after I scheduled them on days when you would be on a plane, watching the playoffs or out Christmas shopping) because Donald Trump is in the Republican field.
Oh, so having an opponent means it's unfair.
We are rudderless if this is what is guiding our party, and by no means do the dubious duo of Hillary and DWS need to be running us off of a cliff.
I'm a Democrat, but I'm not stupid. If you can look at that as a strategy, I'm pretty certain you can't spell strategy, figure out how to even get to the polls or figure out how to vote, on the off chance you happen to wander into your precinct's correct polling place on accident.

Now that I've watched him in five debates, I think it's safe to say that if they caught one debate--or even part of one--they got as much as they are ever going to hear. That is less so for the other two candidates, but I suspect that the OP isn't concerned about their not getting enough exposure.

(31,849 posts)I'm pretty sure the benevolent OP is concerned that O'Malley and HRC aren't getting sufficient face time.

Bernie is fast becoming the master of the gentlemanly counter to the attacks they all try so poorly to execute. That and all the money he makes after each attack helps too.

In this I am speaking for myself and no one else.
Words you used: pretty sure, guess, assume. Yes words you used, reread the sub-thread if you don't believe me.
So just who are you accusing of making presumptions?

We don't have anyone like that and we don't want anyone like that -- even if it gives them higher ratings.

(45,251 posts)Setting election strategy is the overarching responsibility of the DNC. The 2014 election strategy of "Obama who?" resulted in historic Democratic losses at local, state and federal levels, going back to 1928. Hell of a job, Debbie! That she was not replaced after that alone smells to high heaven.
And speaking of smelling to high heaven, Debbie's corrupt handling of this primary is likely to cost the Party dearly, especially with Millennials and other younger voters and with people who came back to the party just to vote for Sanders in the primary.

Seriously-how can anyone not see this as the strategy/goal rather than believe or promote the Idea that it's stupidity. She's still the Leader of the DNC after Years and thousands of people asking for her ouster.
