SuperPAC's vs the DVR - If a half billion dollars of negative ads run in the next 45 days....
how many people will really see them?
And what effect can they have now. I don't know anyone who watches commercials anymore. Not many folks I know even watch live TV. It's all self-scheduling viewing with the DVR and they fly through ads like a hot knife through butter. That leaves the internet and that is self selecting also. You only watch what you choose. I don't think a half a billion dollars will buy what it used to buy, even as recently as in 2012.

People are not chained to the tv schedule anymore. I use my dvr all the time, or I put the show on pause at the beginning, then do ten minutes of messing around the house. I fast forward thru all commercials (except obama lol
I definitely think dvr's water down the damage of Cit. United. Too bad Karl and Kochs. tib |

4. I'm sure the television stations and networks have jacked up their fees

well knowing they'll make a killing off the ads. It will be interesting to see the 4Q profits for the four major networks and how much they earned off of ads.
