A note about the above video, Ai Takahashi is about to leave Morning Musume, as a member. This was her last song.
The emotions are high for the crowd, and her as well. To Graduate in Japan's music terms means to move on beyond
the group she is with. She could become a solo singer, join another group or simply retire. Most of the time, the girls
retire if they become married and pregnant. Ai Takahashi had also been with the group Mini Moni before she moved
on to become a solo singer for a while.
Ai Kago Graduates from Mini Moni/Morning Musume
In this video Ai Kago graduates from Mini Moni/Morning Musume. Mini Moni eventually disbanded, and Ai Kago went on to form a duet with co-member Tsuji Nozomi in a group they called "DoubleU" Unfortunately Kago got suspended for a year for smoking underage. Tsujui became pregnant and had to leave her singing career behind, later getting married. Kago chan recently had tried to commit suicide, but had been saved by her husband to be. She is currently still blogging on Twitter, is married and has a child of her own.
