Merry Christmas everyone....

This is my first year without my husband. It's kinda hard without him. Thank god I have plenty of family to be with.

And I know that many of DUers are missing someone too. To all of you, I send love and (((hugs))), your in my thoughts & prayers.

For myself this Christmas season has been difficult, having lost two members of my extended family to sickness this month. Also caring for a frail elderly parent but making the most of the season as best as I can.

Wishing all the best to you and keep your loved ones close!

Believe it or not, it does get better. Slowly and painfully, but it does.
This is my third Christmas without my wife of thirty-three years. She passed away right before Christmas in 2010. Gave me another reason to dislike the holidays!
Happily, I have my grown son and daughter...two people who have done their old man proud. Hanging out with me are my brace of cats: Hastur The Unspeakable and Natasha Krospina I, Empress of All The Cats. So I'm in good company!
Lots of love and hugs right backatcha, Little Star.
