Introducing Discussionist: A new forum by the creators of DU

Sun Nov 18, 2012, 02:25 PM

A young teacher friend contacted me to tell me one of her students had died.

He was only 5. No health problems. Died in his sleep. So it was sudden and a shock.

She asked if I knew of any support groups for teachers who have lost students.

So I thought I'd post that question here. Is there such a support group?

Thanks.

1. How terribly sad for all. I wonder if her union or association

would have access to counselors.

My heart goes out to all. That is just TOO young

My sincerest condolences.
