2. Hello there my dear friend Rose...

It's about 1am and I am unable to sleep. We laid my wonderful husband to rest today and the pain is great.

But please don't worry too much about me, I will be fine eventually. I have my children and grandchildren close by and they will be what pulls me through this. My sister will be here from Florida in a couple of weeks to spend some time with me and that will help a lot, we are very close.

I may not be posting much for a while because my mind is elsewhere right now. But I promise I'll be back soon. Take care of our Fiction Group my friend.

You might find you want to post more instead of less. When I lost Carol, I needed to talk, and the forums here were the best place to vent. It's darn tough to lose a spouse. We are here to help you out or just listen. I know how difficult it can be to talk about your loss right now, and here, you don't have to worry about getting choked up, and you can cry all you want on our virtual shoulders.
My sis in law came to stay with me for a couple of weeks when I lost Carol. I really needed that, too. When everybody's gone and it gets quiet, just remember you have a place right here where there are people who are going through the same emotions and are willing to talk about anything you want.
