Did you know, per 10k square miles, that FLORIDA leads the nation in tornadoes ?

According to that historical data, at least. It could have changed recently, of course. I'm thinking most of the Florida
tornadoes are in the Gulf, Atlantic and Florida Straits waters close enough to the land to be counted as Florida. I don't read
often about tornadoes in Florida but yes we have them.

Texas leads the nation in average annual number of EF0 to EF5 tornadoes. Kansas is second, Florida is third and Oklahoma is fourth.
