O.F.F.S.

So, I'm station surfing and I tune into a Xian call in show. Apparently one of the latest outrages is Jamie Foxx callng Obama ''our Lord and savior'' at the Soul Train Music Awards.

1. Well, you asked for it

If I'm ever that bored, I'll just take a nap instead.

2. A nap would have been great except that I was driving.

I'm out of town and was looking for public radio for a little news. I'm now in area where the radio is littered with RW and fundie radio stations.

Oh yeah, I also found out they are pissed about this too:

http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2012/11/persecution_or_freedom_kansas.html

A small Kansas city established by immigrants who fled religious persecution is now being accused of violating the U.S. Constitution by endorsing Christianity.

Hutchnews.com reports that Buhler, a city established in 1888 by Mennonite wheat farmers, received a complaint in September from the Freedom From Religion Foundation. The organization claimed that the city's seal, which is depicted on a sign in a public park, violates the Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution because it includes a religious cross.

3. Their righteous pique is constant

and if they aren't given something to be horrified about then they'll just manufacture it.

After all, Christianity is just no damned fun unless you're being persecuted and can claim martyrdom.

4. Jamie Foxx callng Obama ''our Lord and savior''

I saw a post by some wingnut comparing this to "Susan Rice's lies."
as in "It's OK for godless Democrats to lie about Benghazi like it's OK for Jaime Foxx to....."
