Malaysian photographer Lee Peiling created images so fantastic, it feels like you're peering into another world. A world populated with helpful praying mantises and ants ready to lend a helping hand.
The photographer utilized the Bokeh photography technique to achieve the ethereal quality of the macro-photos. The bokeh technique emphasizes the aesthetic quality of out of focus areas and how those blurred areas render light. The highlights in those blurred areas usually produce a halo of light.

(27,677 posts)in the whole miniaturization aspect, the micro world, as they called it, is pretty fascinating. Crichton never finished the novel but Richard Preston, author of The Hot Zone was the perfect person to finish it. Jurassic Park meets Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
Im the worlds worst person to watch a movie with. Im always shouting and muttering about the things that couldnt possibly happen. That said, the book sounds interesting. Ill give it a shot.
