I had cause to watch an old Donahue show recently. The audience (mostly women) was intelligent, informed and engaged. The guest was Ayn Rand (who the audience did not like). Fast Forward to the after-Donahue years; the Age of Oprah. Contrast the audience. We have a younger generation who grew up on Oprah, while some of us were Donahue fans. I find the comparison, and possible implications, fascinating.

I don't know, but I feel that the *Boomers* are coming of age, the latter one. And our collective Pluto in Leo has joined with the younger to just repeat: Who put YOU in charge of me? (We're led to believe 'elections' do it, so it's our own damn fault.) (sorry if you agree)

We are just sick of lazy fat white guys telling us what WE do wrong! (edit out my feelings about politicians - not relevant)
I want to see what WE can do. Those guys need to get with our program, or find another life.

Iceberg. Yep, I think it's serious.

eta: I have nothing against 'fat', 'lazy' or 'white guys'. There's that particular breed. You know the ones.
