Astrologer Terminally Ill- Help in finding home for her two cats needed.
Hope I do not get this hid but am posting an SOS out there to see if there is any help.
My close friend (best) is terminally ill with heart failure and on home hospice. The Dr. has told her to prepare. LAst Friday she was fortunate that the local Vet Tech adopted her 11 yr. old lab, Mae but her two beloved house cats, Bubble & Squeaks, need to find a home together. She lives in NY State.
They are 7, spayed, neutered, up on shots. Tabby with extra markings. One is stoic and the girl is affectionate.
We are trying to not send them to a shelter if possible and to keep them together. I know many think Shelters are great but not always so and they might well sit there for quite some time given the excess in animals right now. If anyone has a place in their home and heart for her two remaining "fur family" members, please LMK asap.
She spent many years a well respected Astrologer up until she became ill and had to be on oxygen. Time is short for her and she will soon be off this world. She is in her 50's.

Sorry the pic is so poor but that is from the flyer she sent to me. Bubble is slate grey tabby with pink nose and her brother is brown with black striping and black feet. Both 7 yrs. old, spayed & neutered.
