Do you "follow" the law of gravity? Nope. It happens regardless.

When you try to block something, it comes back stronger. This can be applied in so many different areas. Besides the obvious (blocking people with whom you disagree), there is also health issues. When you get a cold, do you take something or simply let it run its course. I guarantee that those who do not take any meds will have their colds clear up much faster than those who block the detox.

That seems a bit controlling/bossy. Surely there are spiritual consequences for telling others how "we" should or should never think?

But as for spiritual consequences, as long as I have no control over anyone's life (like a parent abusing their power or a boss doing the same to an employee), it's not some horrific situation. I do agree that phrasing is everything. Namaste, Cupcake.

Over the weekend, when last I posted, the view count of this thread was just over 900. Now it's over 1200. Yesterday I wondered why so many people (hundreds) would bother to read it.

I am sure those with real disabilities will appreciate you throwing around that term as an insult. And for the record, all your friends on here ARE strangers. That is, unless you actually see them in the flesh. I am a veteran of another board and even though I have communicated with the people online for years, I never mistake that for a real relationship.

But weren't you involved a few years ago in a little dust-up that involved fellow ASAHers and some snarky PMs? I thought you were right smack dab in the middle of it but I could be mistaken. If I was correct, perhaps you should not be casting too many stones, dear.

The majority of your posts here are disruptive in nature with no attempt at getting along or adding to the spirituality. In other words, you're mostly negative instead of mostly positive. Holding up the mirror to us is not a good way to show you care for others.

And it's not about perfection; it's about the fact of what this forum is purported to be about. GD is the place where threads are started as pile-ons for toxic sludge--no need to pollute this area with that crap. And it wasn't just one thread, either.

It's funny how people seem to enjoy taking out their aggression on someone they think "deserves" it. They can say whatever mean things they like because they feel they can make a case to justify it. But you have to wonder why that energy exists in the first place...
