So what?

He's a Mexican immigrant with 3 kids who can no longer do the menial jobs he did prior to the accident.

I really don't understand the point of mocking him.

Though it may be more a case of 'Why did a good God so mistreat his faithful servant?' But then history and indeed religious texts are full of good gods mistreating their faithful servants...

by the attempts by others to shame and silence people for asking it.

God is routinely praised and credited for the good things that happen to believers, yet is never blamed for the bad things. Why is this?
