Mystical triangulation

I've been reflecting on the remarkable congruence of two great spiritual triangles: the Hindu concept of "saccidānanda" and the Christian concept of the Holy Trinity.

Saccidānanda translates loosely as Being/Consciousness/Bliss. The Christian triune god consists of Father (~Being), Son (~Bliss) and Holy Spirit (~Consciousness).

It is no mystery that the mystical paths of both religions lead to the same place.

...that people can find very loose parallels and play them up as if they mean something significant.

Red -> Being, Father
White -> Bliss, Son
Blue -> Consciousness, Holy Spirit

So that's why people treat worshiping the flag as a religion.

Larry -> Red, Being, Father
Moe -> White , Bliss, Son
Curly -> Blue, Consciousness, Holy Spirit

All hail the Three Stooges!

that woo woo woo is a common element here. Nothing coincides by accident, after all.

Care to join me?

Ale's what cures ya.

Now...

Are my personal thoughts about belief systems really that offensive to you? Why?

mine are to you, I'm sure.

But nothing on this board is personal...everything of substance is posted with the intent to convince or influence others.
