We came upon it during a hailstorm on an August afternoon in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming.

It is enormous and when surrounded by ice, it is truly bizarre.

We name it "Hail Mary".

Been here 2 years. When family and friends come to visit I just explain to them about our very strict anti vampire laws...it usually gets a chuckle.

A jury convicted a Georgia man of murder Thursday night in the 2008 shotgun slayings of his father and brother, crimes prosecutors said resulted from a family feud over an affair between the defendant and his brother’s wife.

The Effingham County jury deliberated about six hours Thursday before finding 42-year-old Craig Heidt guilty of malice murder and nine other counts, including a charge of aggravated battery for shooting his mother in the face.

Off-topic? Nah. Several true-crime shows have featured this case. Friends and neighbors of the Heidts were puzzled by the horrible events, since they were universally known as "a fine, church-going Xian family."
