Are you a completist?

I'm asking about rpg, Witcher, Mordor and others. I try to come as close as I can. I have gone back and got some stuff to finish at a higher percentage even if the main quests have been completed. However, I don't get 100%, and I haven't played that many new generation games.

Peace

I enjoy the progression much more than doing every single thing just to say I did them.

I tend to skip stuff to get to the next chalenge far more often than smelling all the roses. I miss great content doing this in many games I am sure but I have always played to "beat the game" not experience all of it.

As I get older and have less and less time for gaming it's rare for me to get all the 'chieves / trophies.

I do however tend to beat every game that interests me, but I only have one platinum after years of Playstation gaming and something like 1400 total trophies.

I am about 15% through my second play through of the Witcher 3 but am afraid that I will get pulled away with the new games coming out soon.

I think the advent of trophies really makes being a completionist difficult. Ten years ago being a completionist was subjective to our own feelings of how much we played a game, now we have trophies and 'cheives to measure against.

There is only so much time in the day. I play about two hours a night if I can, maybe that seems excessive, but it is one of the few things that can distract my mind really good, so I think it is good for my mental health.

I love video games and my old schedule allowed me to play a good three hours or more a night. I am not sure how much I will be able to get in with my new schedule. It's a shame more people don't get video games. A lot of my friends don't play anymore or ever did - they somehow turned into their parents. The best form of entertainment and people think it's kids stuff or just for nerds - how they miss out.

Cheers!

Give me a beginning and end to a story and then I put it away, never to be played again. LOL

if there is a safe I can't get into, a door that I fail to unlock, and a sidequest that I fail.
