Toronto Blue Jays add Superman to the roster:

44-year old infielder Omar Vizquel.

DUNEDIN, Fla. -- The Blue Jays put one of their final pieces in place for the 2012 season by announcing on Wednesday that Omar Vizquel will make the team as a utility infielder.

The three-person competition, which also included Luis Valbuena and Mike McCoy, was one of the remaining question marks left in camp with one week until Opening Day.

Vizquel's strong performance this spring and proven ability to handle three different spots around the infield gave him the edge.
