2012 MLB Predictions

Baseball opens early tomorrow morning in Japan, A's vs Mariners. Then both teams return for more exhibition games. Yeah, I don't get it either.

My picks for 2012:

NATIONAL LEAGUE

WEST: San Francisco Giants
CENTRAL: St. Louis Cardinals
EAST: Philadelphia Phillies
WC: Arizona Diamondbacks
WC: Florida Marlins

AMERICAN LEAGUE

WEST: Los Angeles Angels
CENTRAL: Detroit Tigers
EAST: New York Yankees
WC: Texas Rangers
WC: Boston Red Sox

WORLD SERIES:

Detroit over Philadelphia

The Cleveland pitchers you picked up for Ubaldo will have big league experience by then.

I don't think the Giants improved quite enough at the plate to get to the WS this year, unless they pitch (and stay healthy) like 2010. But heck, who knows?
