Just a couple Manning facts for the Bronco Fans who think they've just hit the jackpot...

He's No. 1. That's right, No. 1. He's thrown more interceptions than any other active quarterback. If Brett Favre fails to make another comeback, he'll stay there. He's thrown 198. Awesome.

Here's his record in games played outside in weather under 40 degrees:

Reg season:
7-7 record, 331-534, 3725, 21 TDs, 19 INTs, 81.1 rating
(only beat 4 teams w/ winning records at the time of the games)

Postseason:
0-3 record, 64-120, 612 yds, 1 TD, 7 INTs, 46.2 rating

Combined:
7-10 record, 395-654, 4337 yds, 22 TDs, 26 INTs, 74.7 rating

Jackpot!

1. Denver isn't really that cold. I'd worry more about the altitude. But whatever, you are showing your

again.

2. Lies, damn lies, and statistics. Not sure what the point of your post is...

The only thing that counts is winning is what Manning has done a lot of.

4. lol -- big deal

Denver doesn't often play outside in weather under 40 degrees. And in all those games Manning was playing on the road. And Elway threw 226 interceptions.

Weak argument.

14. It's a very weak argument.

Did the Broncos gamble? Of course, but it's a smart gamble. They knew Tebow was not going to be the type of QB to lead the team to regular playoff runs. They were going to have to struggle, and then start over anyway. Now, they have a shot at something big, and if they fall flat, they start over, which is what they would have had to do with Tebow in camp, anyway.

I know. I like to repeat myself.

7. I did a double take at that

but I was thinking of Indianapolis. I feel that you're right. I don't really know how the two teams have fared against each other since 06-07, but it is odd that Denver was generally successful (prior to 06-07) at Peyton's place(with the exception of the post-season--two times Denver defeated the Colts at Indianapolis in the regular season only to be blown out in the playoffs).

I remember a great game in '06 @ Mile High. A back-and-forth game with multiple lead changes, Manning drove his team down the field to kick the game winning FG just moments after Denver tied it up with a FG. Manning was lights out in that game.

9. I got it from First Take this morning.

It's not really statistically significant, but Manning certainly is comfortable enough playing at Mile High.
