The top nationwide sports story involves a trade for a 4th round pick in the draft...

It trumps a story about a 13-3 team who's coach---a definite top 5 NFL coach with a Super Bowl ring---being suspended for an entire season.

Have I told you lately how much I hate Media Hype?

1. Did you notice that the stories came out at the same exact time?

I sure did.

3. Not only a story about coaches being suspended...

but a story about a practice that threatens the integrity of the entire sport.

4. Bountygate is one of the all time NFL stories... A huge scandal.

A big enough scandal to suspend a top coach like Payton for one year.

Yet...the top headline this morning is about a trade that garnered a 4th round pick.

5. I was wondering when you'd come out of hiding...

I guess the storm has passed, so to speak, and your Dolphins are safe.

6. Not to mention the Shockey/Sapp addition to the Saints mix...

Which I personally think is utter BS.
