The Pirates AND Cubs have more wins than anybody but the Cardinals. 162 games, both winning nearly or slightly over 60% and they have to play one another in a one game adventure so the Dodgers and Mets can go in with considerably inferior records.

And, both the Cubs and Pirates had to play the Cardinals more often than the Mets or Dodgers. So, if those three teams were all in different divisions, all three may have won even more games this year.

I think i heard the current projection is those three teams are going to win 295 games combined. All in the same division.
