What A Relief!

I'm so tired of Chip Kelly. I'm tired of Michael Vick. I'm tired of Chip Kelly. I'm tired of the I-95 mafia, and i'm tired of Chip Kelly.

I'm tired of seeing Sal Palantonio and i'm tired of Chip Kelly.

Now they're 1 and 2. Maybe we will see less of them for a while.

Did i mention i'm tired of Chip Kelly?

1. Two big problems I saw last night:

1) Michael Vick is a turnover machine. Did KC get ANY points that didn't come off a Philly turnover?

2) The "blur" offense doesn't work as well against NFL defenders who are ready for it. Nor does it execute as well when you don't have a team full of 19, 20, 21-year-olds with limitless energy.

Now #2 could change as the season progresses, and in the next few years if Kelly re-molds the team with faster, younger players. But at the moment, it's all hype. Philly fans deserve all the suffering they get.

at least at home. That means you can just sub in fresh legs on D. Which helps when they're out there 40 minutes a game.

By the way, none of this is anything new. Google "jim kelly buffalo bills".

7. And unlike in college where the quality of your team largely depends on the quality

of your recruiting, in the NFL, talent is distributed more evenly. The "blur" is great for running up the score on mediocre college teams, though, so good news if Philly manages to get Temple or Boston College on the schedule.

4. Tired doesn't begin to describe how I feel about Vick...but I am tired of Chip Kelly...

I think he left Oregon just because he knew all the s**t was going to hit the fan, but looks like NCAA did their half-assed "investigation" and it didn't turn out so badly, penalty wise.

My biggest problem is that no coach is ever going to succeed in the NFL when they believe that their system sacrosanct. There is no such thing as a system in the NFL.

The best coaches ALWAYS adapt their precious system to the players. Chip Kelly is not one of them.

whatever he said was considered gospel truth, and he's used to that...not gonna happen in Philly or any NFL city...he's gonna find out soon enough...I'm sure after last night the questions are only going to mount! Good!
