(13,832 posts)Our defense is made up of Vince Wilfork and 10 hot dog vendors...and the last time we played in Denver, Kyle Orton lit us up like a book of matches.

(41,692 posts)you have a prolific offense and a coach who will figure out how to keep St. Timbo bottled up like he was today.
If Tebow plays like he did today, the Pat's will kill them.

(41,692 posts)You can say the Jets were but I think the Jets have huge problems.
This is what will be interesting next week.
The Pats can score points...lots of them.
BUT---their defense is ranked last in all of football.
Tebow better score more than the one touchdown he had today or Denver is going to get rolled.
If they beat the Pats next week and Tebow looks good, then maybe---just maybe I'll cut the guy some slack.
Today he looked flat out awful.
His play is unsustainable in the NFL. His last 5 minute heroics simply won't continue --well---because it's the NFL.
Old and In the Way
(37,540 posts)Defense started strong, but Grossman capitalized on the Patriot's pretty porous secondary. If they play the same defensive game next week, Tebow might have his best passing game yet. Brady and crew were pretty good, as usual, but they should have been up by 2 scores...instead, they dodged a bullet on an offensive pass interference they negated a touchdown...PAT(tie) or 2 point(win) would have been on the table.
