1. While I'm happy that the Patriots lost,

there's really no need to call him Marsha or her.

5. Uh, Brady engineered 4 straight TDs to tie the game
|
Even with a 28 point lead in the 3rd I told Mrs. Auggie I was concerned the Pats would come back. Yes, the 49ers had shifted into one of their soft defensive schemes for a few series (as is usally the case with them) but it still takes exceptional play by a QB to mount a comeback like that.

6. I was concerned too..even when it was 31-3
|
There was still almost the entire 2nd half to play, I know how fast Brady and the Pats can put up points, and the score should have been about 48-3 had the 49ers not blown 1st half opportunities...
Still, it was a character win....and big, since now the 49ers can afford to lose in Seattle and still win the division..nows hoping Justin Smith isn't too badly injured. |

7. WTF is up with Faggio?
|
Why switch from man-to-man to zone? The way the 49ers play zone it's like handing offenses a free come-from-behind win.
I believe Smith has a bruised elbow. He said he expects to play next week. I'm glad Iupati wasn't hurt too severe either. |
