starring pro athletes, Barack and Joe! Could this be the real reason for Chad's abrupt departure?

until he can get another job!

But seriously, folks, nothing will come of this -- she'll just insist that the contact was purely "incidental".

One of the SOFLA gossip sites is saying he's gonna be cut today.

Just stupid of Chad. Don't hit a woman. Just walk away.

His diminished talent just didn't make it worth it.

Believe me--- if you was a top 5 receiver, he wouldn't have been cut.

A combination the Phins disliking his showboating, Hard Knocks broadcasting it, and the NFL pushing a PSA against domestic violence featuring the President and Vice President of the United States. Take away any of those circumstances (especially the third), and Chad probably would have been "forgiven."

ON EDIT: According to today's Pardon The Interruption, Dolphins players are upset that management didn't "stand by" Chad. Meanwhile, the coach said he'd spelled out specific "expectations" he had of of Chad two months ago, but things "just didn't work out..."

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/08/13/remote-chance-jets-pursue-chad-johnson/related/

Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com says that the chances of the Jets, whose depth chart at receiver currently consists of Santonio Holmes, Antonio Cromartie (just ask him), rookie Stephen Hill, and . . . and . . . and . . . . are “remote.”
