SPOILER: Men's Tennis Gold Medal Match *SPOILER*
Congratulations to Andy Murray! He beat Federer in 3 straight sets.
So does this officially break the 76 years without a British win at Wimbledon?

1. Now he has to do it again, today, in the mixed doubles
|
He had 2 mixed double matches yesterday too!

No. The Olympic win is nice, but they'll remain restless until the big trophy stays on the island. |

3. Well, that sucks...

Congrats to Murray, but I wonder if Roger was out of it after Friday's marathon.
And no, it does not break the drought. |

5. It was sad to watch

but something has happened to Murray this last few weeks. He was on fire, he has found something that has pushed him up over the hump.
Sad for Fed. Friday had to be a factor. |

6. At least he got a silver...he hadn't gotten an Olympic singles medal...
|
And he'll stay #1...what's sad is he probably won't be in the next Olympics.

7. Yes I was disappointed but expecting it -
|
that was a tough match to come back after and Roger is not 23 anymore ... the slams are more important but I'm glad too that Andy finally won something.

8. Thing is, I'll avoid all sports today so I don't have to witness it...
|

4. My husband thought the same thing......

just couldn't muster the match today. It almost looked like he wasn't trying......but I'm sure that marathon just took it all out of him. Glad for Andy though.
