Scrivener.... and Elements

FINALLY got my copy of scrivener to play nice with an IPAD tool. Yup, simplenotes plays nice, but trust me, way too painful. So finally managed to get Elements to play nice with it.

If you have a Mac (or a Win machine, but the win machine does not do this sync yet, hoping soon), I highly recommend it.

What? But I got word! Of course, but as an organizational tool it is is far superior. I use the damn thing for both Fiction and non fiction work. For example, we are doing a little work on local elections, where do you think my research goes? Yup, the research folder, which is contained in a tree in it.

Fiction, where I got my character sub folder and all that.

All it does is have a nice repository of in my case txt files. (That is what elements writes in), using markdown language. So when I compile to RTF for final editing or printing I have a nicely formatted text.

But yup, happy as pie I finally managed to get that one to work... I simply find Scriv to be essential to my writing.
