2. One of my favourites by Mr. Ellison

The Ticktock Man was damaged by his encounter with Harlequin. A chink was made in his armor, and a bit of humanity seeped in. Harlan only showed us the very beginning of his breakdown, allowing us to wonder and speculate what would happen next. Mr. E is an extraordinary fabulist...he gets his reader thinking.
