SUPERMAN RETURNS Star Brandon Routh To Play Atom Alter Ego Ray Palmer On 14 Episodes Of The CW’s ARROW.

On 14 episodes of The CW’s “Arrow,” Routh will play inventor-scientist Ray Palmer, the new owner of Queen Consolidated.

In the DC comic books Palmer is an Ivy University professor whose secret identity is The Atom, a superhero who can shrink himself so small that he cannot be detected by the most powerful microscope.

What's interesting is Arrow is rumored to be set in the same continuity of Man of Steel/Supes v. Bats: Dawn of Justice, which could mean two superman actors in one movie eventually.

1. That news made me happy.

I still feel that Brandon Routh was a superlative Superman stuck in a very bad movie.

I am curious how he will turn out, especially with how the training techniques and nutrition these days are so far advanced(crazy in comparison) to the ones done during that time.
