1. Love the John Waters quote.

The Jenga tower looks familiar, and I'd love to have that "dream home."

2. Library books are usually the pile of books on my nightstand.

The books I own are in "the library."

4. Can't you ask for them to get them?

I thought libraries are connected so that they can get what you want.

5. I just checked one title for our county in PA

None of the libraries in our county have a copy of the book; I may donate it to the library when I'm finished reading it.

Currently our local library has two copies of Dan Brown's Inferno, but none available for lending. I have my own copy at home. There is usually a waiting list for the most popular books.

7. Here's a picture and history of our local library.

The building was once a bank.

8. When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes.

Sadly, this is apparently a misquote.

I have turned my entire attention to Greek. The first thing I shall do, as soon as the money arrives, is to buy some Greek authors; after that, I shall buy clothes.
