3. Lot more than 100 books when you count the series
|
Read 33 of the items, but some are a single book and some of the series are long...I counted if I'd read just one.
Interesting that they use "Teen Books" instead of YA. That way books like "Dune" and "Something Wicked This Way Comes" can be included. Not "written for teens" but "read by teens," I guess. |

5. Some classics. there.
|
At least two by the late, lamented Mr. Bradbury.
"Not "written for teens" but "read by teens," I guess." That would be a good classification, I'd say. I'd bet that a lot of the teens doing that reading will eventually go on to do the writing. And that's a very good thing. |

4. Dune? Wow.
|
I loved that book when I was much younger, but didn't realize the staying power.
Read 12 of them, never heard of most of them. |

7. Wm GoldMAN wrote The Princess Bride
|
Lord of the Flies is by Golding.
The Princess Bride is by Goldman. This list is by Clueless. |

8. An easy to make typo
|
In the list of books nominated it is correct. My guess is since the 2 books are next to one another on the final list the typist made an honest mistake.

9. NPR is just one of many making that mistake
|
Princess Bride is attributed to Golding a lot, even when there is no mention of any work or author.
While the error by NPR can possibly be explained by the two works being next to each other in the list, that also should have made it easy to catch while proof reading. It jumped out at me. |
