FOUR jobs for late night hosts, not a minority or Woman in the bunch

Both late night NBC shows, white milk-toast guys, both likable and talented, but give me a break.

I love the choice of Colbert for Letterman but still...

I dont know who is going to replace the Ferguson show that comes on after Letterman, but if it isnt a minority or Woman then that will be 4 for 4.

How can this be, how can there be so many awesome Black and Latino and Female stand up comics, actors, etc., and not one of them gets one of these gigs?

but for some reason the American public do not watch in enough numbers to keep them on the air. I am not sure why.

be able to hold back, but the couple of times I caught Queen Latifah she had a pretty good show.

Yeah, they're shit scared that the just-below-the-surface racism and/or sexism would kill the show. They know perfectly well that if Obama were white he wouldn't have half the shit thrown at him that he has.

know that most Americans really are racists and misogynists at their very core...

some more than others, myself included, but that is the fact...

we have a long ways to go and we are not there yet, we must all admit our contribution to this problem before it can be resolved
