One of those women will go, "But I'm not white, I'm 1/8th African-Latin@ on my mom's cousin's grandfather's side!"

For all we know, all of the people there are so-called 'POC' at least on the 'genetic level'. Whatever that might mean. The whole point being visual minorities bare the brunt of racism and discrimination, not POC who can pass as 'white' or as you say, a white woman who explains her 'winter tan' as a by-product of an ancestor who may have some 'Mediterranean blood'.

It's very difficult for women of any race to get a leg up, and especially women of color and black women. I imagine there are far fewer black women working many positions, especially in journalism and the like. White women have white privilege, and it's something we need to fix. They could take a page from Buzzfeed, which has a much more varied staff.

I imagine with more women in charge in general, we will do a better job of bringing diversity to the workplace, since we aren't petrified of said diversity to the degree white men are. There are WOC in that pic, too, but yeah Huffpost is terribly white and male. Weird for a paper that started out solely for women.
