My Top Five racial upheaval moments.

2014 was a banner year for racial upheaval in America. I’d like to take you all on a trip back in time with me through the rabbit hole. From open carry activists to racist cartoons; the year of our lord 2014 was full to the brim with Klanners, Vote Deniers, Racist Politicians, protests, and much more. This list will be in no particular order, so don’t get mad if your favorite moment is low on the list. To me, all racism is equal.

1. Iggy Azalea

Iggy Azalea, the Australian Hip Hop sensation had a banner year for racist tweets and victim playing. While being ‘Fancy’, she managed to climb her way to the top of the game with classic lyrics referring to herself as ‘The Runway Slave Master’. Let’s not forget her twitter account. She looooves Twitter. Cannot stay off of Twitter.

Let’s have a look at some of her best Tweets.

“Bit**** in la be stick skinny. White, Black, Mexican… Okay, so maybe not Mexican :s they still got the box body on lock”

or

” This Asian lady on the plane tried to act like she didn’t understand me, I told her a** bi*** u gone know English today cause that’s my seat”

Very nice Iggy. All of those ‘bigots’ keep harassing you for being white in Hip Hop. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with your racist commentary. Keep it Classy. Or, shall I say, “Fancy”?

I would put all of the police killings under one heading because there was alot more than Brown and Garner. To be honest, the killing of John Crawford in that Walmart was by far the worse of the cop killings to me. That one just made me almost scream, especially when learning that the asshole who called 911 was deliberately lying about what a threat John was to the other Walmart patrons.

I think another one for your list is how two faced the 2nd amendment folks have been re: police shooting and black people. Salon did an article on this. These guys run around Krogers and ice cream shops with AK-47s screaming about their 2nd amendment rights and how all cops are pigs and enforcers of government oppression but the second these stories hit the national news about unarmed black men and women getting shot down right and left by cops, these same folks actually turned around and supported the damn cops.

And yes, I think that Ms. Iggy belongs on the list. She is as fake and phony as the hysteria over TPP spilling all over GD right now, and I am just super de-dooper positive that all of this angst over an issue that hasn't had any movement in weeks is TOTALLY UNRELATED to the fact that Obama's approval ratings are going up. Total coincidence, I'm sure.

Her sucess is as bewildering as it as upsetting.

I will do one on police shootings of black people and one on the second amendment folks. Ooooh! I think I may have to spend the entire year devoted to these issues and keep on bringing them up for our 'friends'.
I just wanted to post the things that got alot of buzz. I also want to do the ones that got ignored or quickly put away.

I need to do the walmart murder, the stariwell murder, the park killing of Tamir Rice, a CHILD, playing in the PARK. People seem to ignore the fact that he was murdered at a recreation center for children for having a toy. There are so many, I could write one a day and never get through it.

I also want to do something on the exonerations of black men by dna who were identified and juried by all white people. The system is sick and I do not think shutting up is going to work for me.

And Iggy? Poor thang. She acting brand hew and shit.

Time to research this shit. So many cases. Too too many cases. I'll find them if it's the last thing I do. I'm still researching "Prison is the New Slavery", so it ties together and will work for both.

These innocence project people are doing good work. A few governors who studied it have refused to carry out the death penalty.

Arrested at Hospital for Demanding Medical Care, Woman Dies in Jail Cell

by Cara on March 29, 2012

Anna Brown wasn't leaving the emergency room quietly.

She yelled from a wheelchair at St. Mary's Health Center security personnel and Richmond Heights police officers that her legs hurt so badly she couldn't stand...

A police officer arrested Brown for trespassing. He wheeled her out in handcuffs after a doctor said she was healthy enough to be locked up.

Brown was 29. A mother who had lost custody of two children. Homeless. On Medicaid. And, an autopsy later revealed, dying from blood clots that started in her legs, then lodged in her lungs.

She told officers she couldn't get out of the police car, so they dragged her by her arms into the station. They left her lying on the concrete floor of a jail cell, moaning and struggling to breathe. Just 15 minutes later, a jail worker found her cold to the touch...

More to be outraged at the first report. Apparently nothing will be done as she wasn't 'worth' much money, although her two children were orphaned:

http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/woman-unhappy-with-care-at-st-mary-s-hospital-is/article_ed640f3d-64a0-516c-88ff-fb770b5e9677.html?print=true&cid=print

Sheshe made a post about the high mortality of black people due to discrimination in healthcare alone, annually. I wish I knew where it was.

Anna is just one of the hidden victims, suspected of being a drug addict or whatever. The link says the doctor won't be punished for making the wrong diagnosis. If anyone has a link on the follow up to this crime, let me know.

I'll have to do some more digging around for that one. There were a few more cases to tie in with that. Remember the other lady who died in a hospital waiting room? I'm going to look at that one too.

also, one point about Iggy. Hip Hop has already embrace white rappers. Hell, Eminem has proved time and again he has skills and life experience to back it up (as Ja Rule, Nelly and Benzino found out the hard way), but on the other hand, he is always blunt about what he is and is not.

Here is an Australian, middle class model putting on a fake black accent. Now, there is british rap, like lady Soverign, but they do not pretend to be black americans, neither the white ones (Soverign) nor the black ones (Dizzie Rascal). Iggy is fake, and sad to say, a fake trained by someone who has disgraced hip hop, T.I aka "I did a tver preachy tv show to get my setence reduced than got caught in a Maybach with cocaine." There is a difference between white rappers that frankly grew up in the same area and who always talked with their accents (Paul Wall, Yeladawg, Bubba Sparxx) and some aussie tryign to fake it.

We liked all kinds of white rappers. Even up here, we used to kick around in the Club with white Alaskan rappers and they were cool as shit. Arctic Flow records, lol! They were just not fake asses.
I liked eminem, still do.
She would have done better to just keep it real.
