And I think from a distance my farm might look neater. But between new puppies chewing everything they can get, and all the work to keep us busy, my tidiness frequently gets a back seat.

But I love the pictures of people who can manage it.

similar to first photo to keep the squirrels out. Wish I could let my chickens roam but the coyotes & hawks would get them.

protection around the raised bed and move them around. You can stake the base doen to keep it from getting upended. That way at least they get to move around some and get the bugs, grass, etc.

Looks like you could use some chaos - my place is in Ohio - you can come on up for a visit, eh?

I'll take a good hundred feet of fencing, four raised beds, and barn needs stained. I'll let you ride some pretty cool horses, 'k?

I'm building a pole barn across from the horse barn for equipment, and I'm gonna set up a well out front next to the underground one, have to dig across to it and set up the plumbing, with an old-fashioned pump on top, stone it up and plant.

Seeing as how you look pretty qualified, you can take your pick of jobs! I'm nice, really ! Maybe you can time your trip for hay season?

Seriously - I'm gonna do that strawberry bed thing - like that alot.

I really like the wooden stakes, how did you assemble it? Was the wood preserved? I'd like to do something similar.
thanks!
