Jenna Bush works for NBC?

I guess I missed this. Jenna did a historical piece on the 1948 US Mens basketball team. She doesn't look much different than a few years ago, though she has clearly grown up. She's got a raspy voice. I think she did a pretty good job with it overall.

1. I wonder if her connections got her that job...

I wonder if there wasn't someone else working at an NBC affiliate, putting in a lot of time, busting their ass for the company....

I wonder how those people feel when the turn on the TV and see the daughter of a president doing a job they would kill for...

2. Well, perhaps "works" is not the best verb

She receives a paycheck from them in exchange for allowing them to use her name in advertising.

NBC seems to love to hire the worthless offspring of people who they have been close to in the past.

4. She has been a "special correspondent" for years.

I think she interviewed her old man after the 2008 elections.
