Need some help from fellow DU members.

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by krispos42 (a host of the Gun Control & RKBA group).

In the wake of the possible band on Hi cap gun magazines (Clips) there has been a Great rise in people trying to sell them on Ebay. Even though is is against Ebay polices. So I have been trying to report as many as I can find.

But I need some help? Lets try to keep theses death clips out of the wrong hands!!!

What to search for:

magpul
P-mag
Pmag
colt mag
GI-mag

They also try to code the adds so it does not look like they are selling cap magazines.

...are these search words sufficient to assure that the offered item is banned by eBay.
I do not know enough about weaponry but am willing to report everything. I don't want to be violating any policies through spurious reporting (if such policies exist).

When you report an item, Ebay will review the item before removing it.

just .223 came up with magazines, bolt carriers, buffer springs, charging handles,

got your work cut out for you. Maybe you can get a job as ebay admin looking for prohibited stuff. Looks like they could use the help.

but I did my part by reporting items that should not be sold on Ebay, as per there own rules.

I also donated to the Brady Campaign.

If it was up to me, I would ban all semi-auto firearms and all magazine over 5 rounds.

PS: All these guys selling on Ebay,should go an try to sell these items on AR15.com. I don't think they would get the prices they are getting on Ebay.

although I disagree with you on semi autos.
Although I have semi auto pistols, don't have any AR types. I do like .30 carbines though.

I know many of the guys on the gun-boards say they will never give in. But most will, history has proven that.

I don't think they will get much more gun control now. But in the last two years of President Obama's term, I think all bets are off.

I have had few item kicked off because they did not meet the standards.

If you want to sell there, you have to fallow there rules.
