I just bought a 45 caliber rifle

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by krispos42 (a host of the Gun Control & RKBA group).

Bought it on the internet, paid with a Postal MO. Rifle will be shipped directly to my front door.
This rifle is capable of dropping man sized targets at 100 yards, and has no serial number.

A young lady who is a reenactor wanted one for her kit. She is rather petite so I found one that she likes and has a 12" lop. and she paid for it. It is coming to my house because that is the listed address. When it get here we will go to the back pourch pistol range and try it out.

I am just surprised that the anti's were not to be found.

Was coming back home from a Yes concert in Jersey City. My ride dropped me off at the bottom of Manhattan and it being 3am, and with no buses and the subway probably not running at that hour, I started hoofing it uptown, generally in the direction of 78th Street, but really wandering and floating a half foot off the ground. Yes Concert, early to mid 70s.

Pre-Guilliani Lower Manhattan was an amazing place to be 17 or 18 years old late at night with no parental supervision. The Bowery in particular was like a black and white TV show of grey old men sitting under grey-green neon lights inside colorless dead bars. Walked on through past Houston to the Village, just as dead, and continued my jaunt uptown. Still very high.

When I got to the NY Public Library Lions at 34th and 5th, there was this little park nearby, across the street, crawling with unfriendly vibes. Without really thinking about it, I turned my back, rolled up the paper bag tight I was carrying, and stuffed it into my wasteband. Pulled my shirt tails half out on that side. Nice visible bulge.

As I neared the park, three figures started to move over to my side of the street. I never looked directly at them, but started mumbling to myself. "Kill, kill 'em. Kill 'em all". Not too loud, and I started fingering the bulge on my belt. "You want this? This is what you want?" They probably would. No mohawk, but the clothes and the method acting were pure DeNiro.

The little wolf pack stopped in their tracks in the middle of 5th Avenue, no traffic at a quarter to Four. They turned on their heals and went back to bad vibes park, and I kept on my way, floating uptown.

You see, things haven't really changed. I still don't need no stinkin' Glock.

like a well regulated clock. But, it refers to regulating the militia, not the arms.
The "collective right" theory has never been accepted as precedent, so Heller wasn't that radical. McDonald did over turn a couple of "states rights" decisions that civil rights lawyers have been chipping for decades before then.
