Men Arrested for Assaulting Parking Attendant After Car BootedTwo men were arrested for asttacking a parking lot attendant with an assault rifle after their car was booted.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Ricardo Cardenas, 28, and Marty Moyers, 33, returned to their vehicle around 3:00 a.m. and found that a boot had been placed on one of the wheels. They confronted one of the employees, who explained that they had parked in a private lot and they they would need to pay the fine in order to have the boot removed. Police say Moyers grabbed the employee from behind, allowing Cardenas to get free. Cardenas then pointed the gun at the employee and fired a shot in his direction. That's when the employee finally gave in and started removing the boot.
Don't wait until they actually shoot at you before un-booting, it's not like lives are at stake over a parking fine. Remember the plate, and let the police take it from there...  |
