Woman critically wounded in school parking lot, no shots fired.

attacker surrendered to "untrained yahoo" until police arrived.

SAN ANTONIO - A woman is in critical condition after she was stabbed outside her child's school Tuesday morning.

The attack happened around 10:00 a.m. Tuesday outside the Bonham Academy on St. Mary's Street. Teresa Barron, 38, had just dropped off her child at the school when the child's father showed up, and the two got into an argument. The child's father, 38-year-old Roberto Barron allegedly then stabbed the woman several times in the upper body and neck area.

Police say a bystander who happened to be a concealed handgun license holder pulled his weapon and ordered Barron to drop the knife. Barron surrendered and was taken into custody by the bystander and a school district officer.

OK, so this might be a Google or Ixquik dump. Not being in Texas and not knowing Texas law, I'm going to take a guess that the CCW is OK in the parking lot, but not inside the building.

things were just fine until he felt the need to whip out his penis . . . er gun and make the whole thing downright uncivilized.

Oh and of course this will just feed the gun culture that (WRONGLY!!!) thinks guns can be used to disarm violent criminals when clearly that is not true.

5. Texas CHL law states that concealed carry on school property

is restricted to the parking lots, sidewalks, and open areas(as long as no school function is going on in the open areas).

As far as CHL was concerned he was legal.

Police say a bystander who happened to be a concealed handgun license holder pulled his automatic assault rifle armed with cop killer bullets and discharged hundreds of rounds in to a crowd of bystanders killing 15 (mostly women and children). The massacre only ended after Barron casually took the gun away from the CHL holder and used it on him then ran away. Police immediately released the shooter saying "apparently stand your ground laws mean you can shoot anyone you want for whatever reason you want".

/so close grabbers. Maybe next time.
