'It was God's call': Shocking words of mother whose daughter, 6, died after her brother accidentally shot her

The mother of a six-year-old girl who was killed when her brother's hunting rifle accidentally went off says nothing could have been done to prevent her daughter's from dying.

Haydee Stanovich made a shocking statement about little Jenn's death, saying it was 'God's call' that she took a bullet to her chest when a loaded gun fell off a bed and fired.

Ms Stanovich says she spoke with her daughter 30 minutes before the accident and has concluded that it must have been the six-year-old's time to die.

'It was God's call. There was no way around it,' Mrs Stanovich told the Hartford Courant.

a guy come in and asked the owner what he thought a 870 would be worth. He then asked if he could bring it in.

Out to his vehicle he went, and come in and handed it to the owner. We were walking out when the owners wife made a funny noise. I looked over my shoulder and the Owner had racked the pump and out fell a 2 3/4 00 round.

Guy said something like "Oops sorry about that. I forgot one one in the chamber."

not all of those ways make sense to the bulk of us. Sad story - if the family is able to find some peace and comfort in 'blaming' god than good for them...

The headline indicates her brother shot her. The story claims that the gun fell and went off, all by itself.

Then there's a mention of disturbing writing.

I think there's a story here, but we're not seeing it in this article.

I hope the survivors find peace.
